Every year, when the deadline rolls around for the Moss Adams Youth Backboard Design Contest, the Hoopfest office becomes filled with amazing and colorful designs crafted by Hoopfest kids from all over. Typically, the contest has been open to students in grades three through eight, but for 2015, the contest expanded to include those in kindergarten through grade two. Entries are judged on creativity and originality.
After much deliberation, we are excited to announce our three winners of the 2015 Moss Adams Youth Backboard Design Contest! They include Kendall Holecek, a 3rd grader from Shadow Lake Elementary; Charlie Rajewski, a 4th grader from Salnave Elementary; and Annie Pariodon, a 6th grader from Wilson Elementary.
2015 Contest Winners:
Moss Adams has been a sponsor since day one and to further involve the community in its love of Hoopfest, they have generously sponsored three additional backboards for young artists to design and show off their creative skills!
Rick Betts, managing partner at Moss Adams Spokane and the Hoopfest Board Chair, was the mastermind behind the dream of Hoopfest and quickly brought the company on board. As Betts serves on the Hoopfest board, Moss Adams continues to be an integral sponsor of our organization.
Thank you to Moss Adams for making this possible, and thank you to all of our artistic applicants!
