Maybe you haven’t played ball since last Hoopfest or maybe you just want to get that shot falling before Saturday morning. Good news! This year Hoopfest has opened up 10 practice courts just north of Spokane Falls Blvd.
In addition to the practice courts Gonzaga alums Adam Morrison and David Stockton will be putting on a ball handling and shooting clinic at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Must be entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to participate and 15 kids will be chosen by raffle per clinic. Enter at the registration tent on Thursday and near the KIND Snacks booth on Friday. Drawings will be held 30 minutes prior to the clinics.
Before you leave the practice round be sure to join us for Spokane Hoopfest’s inaugural HOPFEST at Hoopfest, located on Post Street just north of Spokane Falls Boulevard. Grab your team and kick back with a brew before all the action starts! Practice courts and HOPFEST at Hoopfest will be open between 11 am-7 pm on Friday.
We are excited to have eight local breweries showcasing their craft beers: Black Label Brewing Company, Iron Goat Brewing Co., NoLi Brewhouse, Orlison Brewing Co., Perry Street Brewing,River City Brewing, Steam Plant, and 12 String Brewing Co.
There will be cornhole games in the beer garden, along with music from Twin Towers throughout the day as well as a live performance by the The Ryan Larsen Band from 4-7 pm.
Admission is $10, which includes a cup and two drink tickets (you get a 5-ounce taster for one ticket, 12-ounce pours for two). Additional tickets will be $3 each or $5 for two.
Only attendees age 21+ will be admitted. Hoopfest is a family-friendly event, so please drink responsibly.
