This week marks National Volunteer Week, which prompts the question, how do you get involved in your community? Looking for new ways to make an impact? Interested in being a part of the world’s largest 3-on-3 tournament? The opportunity to be a part of one of Spokane’s greatest events is waiting.
Every year Hoopfest is made possible by the 3,000 plus volunteers it takes to run the basketball-packed weekend in downtown Spokane. Offering a number of different positions, with varying times throughout the weekend it is easy to find something that will fit just right! If the high intensity of being a court monitor isn’t for you, we need volunteers for team check-in, merchandise, score keepers and more. And of course volunteering doesn’t come without its perks. As a token of our appreciation, every volunteer receives a free t-shirt. Court monitors also receive a set of Nike shoes, shirts, and shorts!
Want to get involved? Visit www.spokanehoopfest.net/volunteer and fill out a volunteer application before Friday, June 10!
