Making a Difference

It is consistently an honor for Hoopfest to give back to those people and organizations that are benefiting Spokane in impressive ways. Today we thank BOMA Spokane in particular, and their beneficiary, the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center.

Hoopfest loves making a difference in the community. It is always a joy and a privilege to be recognized by our area partners and friends particularly when we know others are going to benefit from our involvement.

Spokane Hoopfest Executive Director, Matt Santangelo

On Wednesday, January 21, Hoopfest participated in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) 2015 Speaker Program, which invites community businesses and organizations to present at BOMA’S semi-monthly meetings. Hoopfest Executive Director Matt Santangelo spoke at the event giving a basic overview of Hoopfest and our current goals and plans.

In return, BOMA Spokane presented Santangelo and Hoopfest Marketing Director Bailee Neyland with a certification of appreciation indicating that a donation will be made in Hoopfest’s name to the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center (SGS/NMC).

The SGS and NMC is a joint organization assisting young children with disabilities as well as their families, to meet their full potential through assessment, therapy, education and support.

We are excited about the work SGS and NMC are doing and are grateful for BOMA Spokane for this meaningful gift.
