Making Memories in a Major Way with Numerica

Since 2010, Numerica Credit Union has been a Major Sponsor of Spokane Hoopfest.” The Spokane Hoopfest brand is well-known and well-loved,” says Amanda Swan, Community Relations Coordinator of Numerica Credit Union. “By connecting our name to such a great community event, we have seen ongoing positive impact.”

For over 75 years, Numerica has helped protect and advance their members’ financial health through better rates, lower fees, no-stress services and outstanding support. Being founded by locals and owned by members, Numerica always find ways to give back to the communities in which they live and work.

This year, we are happy to announce that Numerica is teaming up with Photoboxx to provide backdrops around the Hoopfest site along with free print outs of #Hoopfest2016 photos at Riverfront Park. This is the first year that Numerica has teamed with Photoboxx to provide this feature. “The Spokane Hoopfest brand is well-known and well-loved,” says Amanda.

“This year, we’re so excited to team up with Photoboxx which will allow Hoopfest players and fans to take home printed commemorative photos by simply posting to social media! We’re making it easier than ever to show off that action shot or that team photo by using the official Hoopfest2016 hashtag,” says Amanda. “By posting your photos to Instagram or Twitter with #Hoopfest2016, you’re able to pick up you free prints right in Riverfront Park.”

Along with partnering with Spokane Hoopfest, Numerica Credit Union is committed to enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities. Numerica does this through thousands of volunteer hours each year, and through charitable contributions which topped $1 million last year.

“We are constantly amazed by the generosity of Numerica employees and their willingness to lend a helping hand. That rise-to-the-occasion mentality is as important internally as it is out in the community,” says Amanda. “By giving back through volunteerism, we’re able to supplement our financial gifts and make a larger impact overall. Last year, Numerica employees volunteered over 13,500 hours, which is equivalent to seven full-time employees!”

From community involvement to sponsoring area-college athletic programs, Numerica continues to give back. Last year Numerica employees donated over 158 hours to Hoopfest Weekend and this year Numerica plans to donate the same amount. “That energy, support and participation is what Hoopfest is all about,” says Amanda.
