For the second straight year, Hoopfest and AMP’D partnered up to provide the Best Basketball Weekend on Earth premier videoboard displays.
AMP’D, located in Spokane Valley, supplied scoreboards at four different locations throughout Hoopfest weekend.
“The goal of this year’s setup was to create a display that was not only functional as a scoreboard but create that ‘awe factor’ that got people talking,” explains Justin Haas, the owner of AMP’D. “Also, to create the feeling of being in a bigger arena where those video screens are more common. Having a scoreboard at [Nike] Center Court, the main [Visit Spokane] Information Tent and the [Moss Adams] High School Elite Center Court, I think we accomplished that.”
To help tip-off the largest 3on3 basketball tournament in the world, AMP’D also set up a scoreboard, lighting and audio at the second annual ALUMNI GAME in the Spokane Convention Center.
“Each year, our organization works hard to elevate our tournament weekend,” explains Bailee Neyland, Hoopfest’s Director of Brand Strategy and Business Development. “By partnering with AMP’D, we were able to elevate our ALUMNI GAME with multiple large videoboards to increase the experience for our fans.”
“To be a part of both Hoopfest and the ALUMNI GAME meant the world to us,” Justin says. “AMP’D is about nine years young and we all work extremely hard and long hours to keep our customers not only happy, but 110 percent satisfied with the work we do. To be part of such a huge event, just shows that hard work and teamwork, make the dream work!”
Hoopfest 2017 was a huge success in part to the superb visual effects Hoopfesters experienced during the weekend.
“The experience we had this year was just as great and positive as last year,” Justin says. “The entire team at Hoopfest was very flexible and understanding with our needs and worked with us to accommodate. Just overall a great and pleasant experience.”
Special thanks to AMP’D for providing Hoopfesters multiple scoreboards during our tournament weekend! Join for Hoopfest 2018 – June 30 and July 1.
