Need the 411: Visit Spokane Info Tents are here to help!

We are quickly approaching Hoopfest and getting ready for everyone to hit the streets for some amazing basketball! There are many different elements to Hoopfest and we want to make sure the quarter of a million people who attend our event are always in the loop.

Thanks to Visit Spokane, Hoopfest can make sure you get all of your questions answered at our Info Tents.

Visit Spokane is your helping hand through Hoopfest! They have all the information you could possibly want about our site, entertainment and the greater Spokane area.

“If you need help with directions or information about Hoopfest, we can help you figure it out,” says Charlotte Finnegan, Director of Group Travel and Leisure Sales for Visit Spokane. “We are also able to help with restaurant and attraction suggestions for your free time when you are not shooting hoops.”

There are four Info Tent locations throughout Hoopfest.

  • Info Tent and Lost Child Tent: Just south of Nike Center Court in the Bennett Block
  • Info Tent: On Main, between Wall and Post
  • Info Tent: Intersection of Main and Washington
  • Info Tent: On Gardner/Boy Scout Way in the North Courts

New to the North Court teams for Hoopfest 2017 is the collection of score sheets at the Visit Spokane Info Tent in that zone. Volunteers will be collecting score sheets and delivering them to the Hoopfest Master Scoreboard. The goal is to streamline the process of team captains having to report game outcomes, as well as providing a more convenient and accessible location for those up north.

“Who knows Spokane better than Visit Spokane?!,” expresses Hoopfest Executive Director, Matt Santangelo. “We are thrilled to have Visit Spokane have a greater presence with our event this year. Their organization and knowledge of our community will no doubt help make the Hoopfest experience even better! Please remember, for all those playing at our North Courts you can drop off your scoresheet at the Mobile Scoring kiosk at the Visit Spokane Info Tent on Gardner/Boy Scout Way.”

Visit Spokane has some special tips for the Hoopfesters from out of town!

“When you have a break between games, stop in to a restaurant and enjoy the local fare or do some shopping,” Finnegan says. During your down time, explore our region: the Centennial Trail is a great way to see the river, visit Huntington Park and see the Spokane Falls.”

Because Hoopfest is one of the largest visitor events in Spokane, there is no better partner than Visit Spokane to help our visitors experience all that Hoopfest and Spokane have to offer.

With the help of Visit Spokane, Hoopfest 2017 is sure to be another great success! Before you hit the streets, check out the Official Hoopfest 2017 Event Map to find the Info Tents and other elements. Get excited Hoopfesters: we’ll see you all soon!
